Singing and Reading Benefits Children

There was a great little article on page 7 of ┬áthe Tahoe Daily Tribune today applauding the reading singing connection. The author, Jonathan Helm, is a pediatrician at Barton Pediatrics in Stateline. He states that, “Early language development is intricately linked to a child’s exposure to reading, talking, and SINGING.”┬áHere at Little Bear Books, we couldn’t agree more! This article supports a guiding principle at Little Bear Books, that singing enhances learning. It is never too early to read and sing with your child.
