What a beautiful day at Carson Pass Station! Friendly and knowledgeable docents, interesting folks hitting the trail, and a chance to share my books and music with visitors all made for a great day. An added bonus was the clear air at 8,573 feet, a welcome relief from the smoke-filled skies in the Tahoe Basin from the Mosquito Fire. The bees and Hyssop even put on a show!
